ASSISTANT TRAINING MANAGER – (Code: ATM)
The Training Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and identification of training and development needs of Engineers and other professionals through analytic appraisal and regular consultation with professionals and subject matter experts to design and expand training and development programmes based on professional and national needs.
Responsibilities:
• Identify training and capacity development needs of engineers, technicians and technologists and professionals in engineering based industries;
• Design and organize or source Training Programs to meet specific training needs and gaps for organisations and individuals;
• Evaluate and make Recommendations on Training Materials and Methodology.
• Establish and Maintain Relationships with Facilitators, Participants and External Training Suppliers
• Keep Current on Training Design and Methodology.
• Liaise With Subject Matter Experts Regarding Instructional Design.
• Develop Training Aids Such As Training Calendar, Manuals And Handbooks
• Harness & Supervise the duties of Training Coordinators in all Locations and work in a team to produce effective training programmes that meet identified needs;
• Identification and Preparation of the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets and assess the return on investment of any training;
• Produce detailed training reports and evaluate training and development programmes;
• Monitor and review the progress of participants through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
• Ensure that statutory training requirements are met;
• Review and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;
• Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages;
Educational Requirements and Work Experience
• Must have a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, MBA an added advantage;

• Teaching Principles for Individual and Groups
• Knows the basic of Coaching, Mentoring and Performance Monitoring Techniques
• At least 10 years working experience in training or related areas;
• Must be good in MS OFFICE Applications; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint

2. ASSISTANT TRAINING COORDINATOR – (Code: ATC)
The ATC will be responsible for Training Coordination and he/she is expected to prepare,
facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document training activities in the Company.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Inform Participants About Training Options.
• Map Out Training Plans For Individual Participants.
• Track and Report on Training Outcomes.
• Provide Feedback To Program Participants And Management.
• Maintain Participants Training Records
• Handle Logistics For Training Activities Including Venues, Equipment and Entertainments.
• Manage and Maintain Training Facilities And Equipment.
• Keep Current On Training Design And Methodology.
• Support Business Development To Win More Participants
• Partner With Stakeholders Regarding Training Needs
• Map Out Training Plans and Coordinate Training Programmes
• Facilitate Learning Through A Variety Of Delivery Methods Including Classroom Instruction, Virtual Training, On-The-Job Coaching Etc.
