The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Ademola Isaac Olorunfemi, FNSE has bagged the Fellowship of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE). NATE has issued Olorunfemi a certificate with the no. F- 336 dated 26th November, 2014, signed by Tgst (Dr) Leo Okereke, FNATE and Engr. Dr. O. A. Adeniyi, FNATE, both President and Honourary General Secretary of the Association respectively, being evidence of the highest honour of NATE. Olorunfemi now has the authority of the body to use the designation of FNATE after his name.
NATE is a professional body of
practical Engineers established in 1976 and incorporated in 1988 with the aim
of promoting self-reliant technological development in Nigeria.
In addition to the general
promotion of science, Engineering and Technology, NATE’s core objective
includes building a bridge and understanding and confidence between Engineers,
Technologists and stakeholders amongst others.
Olorunfemi in his position
as a Fellow would be expected to provide mentorship to younger members of the
Association. He would also join other Fellows of NATE to network and promote
the highest ideals in the development and practice of Engineering and
Technology for the benefit of the relevant professionals and humanity.
