Dear colleagues.
On behalf of NIMechE Akwa Ibom Chapter I welcome all delegates and members to the 29th international conference and AGM of our great institution. While it remains true that some of us will be visiting Akwa Ibom State for the first time, I agree that many of us are coming here for the umpteenth time. However let me make bold to say that Akwa Ibom is the place to be in this period of economic recession. It is a state quite simple and accessible. It can be accessed by air. Land.and sea. Safety and security is assured.
The conference will live up to it's billing by the grace of God. In the spirit of Dakkada, we mechanical engineers shall rise to the fate of greatness. The national chairman has been to lend his hands and provide the guidance for a successful hosting. You are welcome.
