In a bid to find a lasting solution to the spate of Building Collapses across the country, The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Lagos Branch under the leadership of Engr Johnson Akinwande, FNSE is inviting the General Public to its 2017 Annual Public Lecture and Award in Lagos. On hand to present the Keynote address is Engr Oladotun Lasoju, General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency, LASBCA. He would be presenting a keynote address on "Prevention of Collapse Buildings: The Collective Responsibility"
The event which is coming up on Tuesday, May 2nd 2017 at the Main Hall of Oyebolu Engineering Resources Centre, Department of Works and Physical Planning, University of Lagos, Akoka will be chaired by the President of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr Otis Anyaeji, FNSE and commences at 11.00 am.
It would be recalled that the Branch had developed strong tendency to use its Annual Public Lecture as a forum for addressing crucial National Issues, hence the reason it attracts high caliber of personalities among engineers and other professionals (including Policy makers).
