The Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE has expressed heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on the passing of his elder brother, Engr Sunday Makinde
In a statement issued by the President of NSE, Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, the Society extended its deepest sympathies to the Governor and his family during this difficult time.
"We join the Makinde family in mourning the loss of Engr. Sunday Makinde, a beloved elder brother to our dear Governor Seyi Makinde," the statement read. "As I pray for the repose of his soul, I also pray that the good Lord gives you and your entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."
The NSE President further emphasized the Society's unwavering support for Governor Makinde and his family, noting the late Engr. Sunday Makinde's contributions to the Engineering profession and the community.
