Position Purpose To provide SAP and Cost Engineering support to SPDC H-Block Project Team, facilitate invoice processing for the Team and ensure timely payments to contractors
Principal Accountabilities "1. Provide SAP support to the project.
2. Ensure and maintain strict adherence to the project WBS breakdown structure from other parties.
3. Keep an up-to-date SAP cost databases and reports for management.
4. Participate when required in project cost audits and technical challenge sessions to ensure consistent application of SPDC SAP cost engineering standards.
5. Assist in internal and external SAP benchmarking (i.e. against performance, industry norms and established KPI’s) to improve and optimise cost control systems
6. Participate in SPDC sponsored Cost Engineering studies.
7. Be responsible for routine PR’s ensuring the accuracy against Agreement values.
8. Be responsible for routine SE creation, updating SAP data base with new SE data as required.
9. Develop/own technical and non-technical skills and competence in the line, in relation to changing business needs and technical advances in Cost Engineering and Cost Management. Evaluate and capture new knowledge and learning.
10. Periodic analysis of Record and outstanding commitments
11. Periodic analysis/updating of activity TECO & Final Flag status.
12. Assist in creation of OC-1 reports
13. Assist with monthly SAP input of VOWD status"
Dimensions "a) Budget phased according to Project progression:
Key interfaces with: Other Project Leads; Project Engineers, Business Finance Team, Contractors and Suppliers."

Experience and Qualifications required "– A university degree with at least 3 years experience.
– Computer literate with knowledge of SAP, livelink and MS Office Tools.
– A good team player, impeccable personal integrity, respect for people and good analytical and communication skills
– Capacity to work under pressure and consistently deliver high quality results."
