An English inventor, Peter Dearman has claimsed to create ‘green’ air-powered vehicle.. he modified his run-down jalopy - a 25-year-old Vauxhall Nova - to run on nothing but air.
It won't produce any emissions because it uses only air
Dearman's propulsion system operates similarly to a steam engine, except he uses very cold liquid air. He said he chose liquid air as a fuel source because it’s light and cheap. He turns on his car by connecting two wires. At around -390 degree Fahrenheit, air turns into a liquid that can be stored in insulated, vacuum-sealed containers. Dearman uses a beer keg as a makeshift container for the liquid air.
Drawing from the principles of a steam engine, the inventor believes his air mobile could be used as a renewable resource and break the auto industry’s gas dependency.
it can drive for about three miles and reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. Read moreHere
