Nigerian Woman, Valerie Agberagba chairs WFEO's Women in Engineering Standing Committee

Valerie Ifueko Agberagba a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers has been appointed as, Chair, Women in Engineering Standing Committee and Vice President of the World Organization which has membership from over 90 nations of the world.

She was appointed chair by the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, WFEO at the just-concluded General Assembly in Kyoto, Japan. 

Agberagba, who is a registered engineer, is a Past President of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria, APWEN, and a three times Past Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE.

Agberagba a founding member of the Abuja Chapter of APWEN was National President of the Association in the years 2005 – 2007, after chairing the Abuja Chapter 2003-2005. She is passionate about the growth of the engineering profession and is presently a third-time Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

She is also Chair, Women in Engineering Committee and Vice President, Federation of African Engineering Organization FAEO.
