NSE Categories of Membership

As a result of many calls and inquiries from members regarding the NSE categories of membership, we are writing to reproduce in tabular form the detailed. For those who are not familiar with the categories on membership we believe the following may be of help to you:
The following are guidelines for persons aspiring to become members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. There are six grades of membership namely:
Fellow, Honorary Fellow, Corporate Member, Graduate Member, Associate and Student Member. The education and training required for each grade of membership are listed hereunder:

1. STUDENT MEMBER
A Student Member shall be a person who is undertaking an approved engineering course of training leading to a degree in an institution recognised by the Council of the Society for the purpose of training professional engineers.

1.0INTRODUCTION I give God all the glory for making this day a reality. Though the journey has been long and arduous, like the proverbial King David in the Holy Bible, I humbly testify that the Lord has been my help and my guide in the journey to date. His Excellency, the Governor of Osun State, The President of N.S.E, The Hon. Commissioner for Works, Osun State, House of Assembly Member here present, Council Members, Fellow N.S.E, Past National Chairman, the New Chairman, Gentle Men and Women of the Press, Ladies and Gentlemen.
With special Appreciation to Almighty God who owes us nothing but we owe Him everything. I feel highly honored to welcome you all today for this great Occasion of Inauguration of the Osun State Chapter of NICE. Civil Engineering History In the beginning, Civil Engineering included all engineers that did not practice military engineering; said to have begun in 18th century in France.
